Open Carry: I knew it would happen

As a matter of fact, the displaying of her weapon might make the rapist knock her out cold rather than drag her into a car, giving her time to pull her gun and waste the scum.
That's the classic anti-gun "argument".

Faced with an immediate and credible threat to life and limb, a woman will stand there and be beaten rather than shoot her assailant.

It's not just anti-gun, it's misogynistic.

Not talking about you :)

Don't you have a NY flag to burn or something? I might have missed the court challenge to the Safe Act, but corredt me if I am wrong, but are the 15 round pre ban 5906 magazines that were LEGAL before the Safe Act still illegal or not? So the passage of the Safe Act made magazines that were legal under the already draconian 1994 AWB no a felony to possess. And New Yorkers like Ladder had to register their AR's and are prevented from passing them to their children. And of course, they can't Open Carry. Get Ladder is such a loud voice in these debates. He can't open carry. Can't have 30 year old magazines. Has to register his "assault rifle" and his heirs will be forced to turn them in for melting down when he passes.

Or he can admit to breaking the law in an Internet forum. Nah, he wouldn't be that stupid.

If the gun laws in your area are the PRIMARY reason you live there, you need to consider your priorities in life. Would you turn down a fabulous promotion and a rocket ride to the top of your company because you can't have more than 10 rounds in a magazine? Sad if you would.
To some people money means more than liberty. Clearly you're one of them.

Freedom is always "sad" to those who fear and despise it.

How much money would it take for you to move to Pyongyang... or Raqqa?

For a school teacher your spelling is terrible. ;)

Who cares what you think anyways, so you're an anti-gunner living in PA and I'm a pro 2A advocate living in NY. I can move, you're stuck with your beliefs.;)

Misogynistic? Am I advocating a woman allow herself to be beaten before wasting the lowlife? I hope her first round is right to his groin.

You're anticipating that she'll let herself be beaten. It's your default position.

Try to pick one morally dubious position and stick with it.

Or typing on an IPhone's tiny keyboard brings a few more typos. Why are you still awake? You must be off duty. Firefighters are usually sleeping on job time so they can work their second job when they're off duty.

I'm thinking of sending in a run of the mill, 1 of 5,000,000 M10 for a reblue. :D

Interesting. I'll bet if he rattled off a few of the NYPD's various deadly pratfalls, you'd whine about "cop bashing". Yet you badmouth firemen.

Maybe you just wanted to be a firefighter but couldn't...

While sleeping, or awake, I never got to violate someone's civil rights, how about yourself, how many people had their rights violated by you?

Its still quite possible to build an AR platform rifle and not have to register it...so it can be passed on to your kids. Now whether or not that changes...time will tell. And yes..anything over 10 rounds is illegal, but stating repeated times about the 7 round limit is why I mentioned it.

Really? Never took something that was "gonna burn anyway"? I don't believe it. They don't call them Land Pirates for nothing.

And you can't move. Your job requires you stay in NY. And not only NY, but specific counties. And you can't open carry, which is the subject of this thread. Or own magazines over 10 rounds. Can't have a 70 year old surplus rifle shipped to your door. Can't give your children an AR. You live in basically the most restrictive gun state there is, and you're gonna champion yourself as some crusader? You stay in NY for a paycheck and a pension. Which is fine, but you can't bad mouth the state that pays your salary and feeds your children.

Me, I can do what I want. If I wanna join the OC masses tomorrow, I can. I can walk into a gun shop and buy an AR and a drum magazine. No permit needed for my wife to buy a handgun since she doesn't carry. But if she wants to carry, the permit will take about 30 days. How long did yours take?

Yeah, this "anti-gunner" better get to work reloading his ammo. This summer, I slowed down a bit. Only loaded about 2000 rounds. And the 1500 other bullets I have yet to load aren't gonna load themselves!

And why do you care that I reblued a Model 10? Wanna give my son something nice one day. Quintessential cop gun should go to a cop's son. Just don't feel right giving him a plastic Glock. Why don't you give him a spatula or a pillow? Perfect for a fireman's son.

Yeah? Where do you get the receiver? That's why has to go through an FFL. Received is the rifle. If you have a receiver, you're supposed to register it.
