Gday Charlie,
Re my Victory model V368191 which has been included in the data base. Have just discovered that next to the V on the butt it carries the flaming bomb symbol. Lightly stamped, I didnt know what it was until I saw the other day a picture of the symbol. So if thats of interest to the database feel free to include. Not overly sure what the symbol means, led to think it may have been earmarked for DSC somewhere outside of the USA considering its CAI markings.

Bob, That flaming bomb stamp is the ordnance inspector's stamp of approval on the gun, meaning that the gun met the specifications and passed the tests required to be accepted by the Ordnance Dep't of the US Army. Ed.
