Yes, you remember correctly; there were blued versions of the Shorty 40.Nice trio Bob, I seem to remember certain Mark 3 40s to be blued as well as stainless. Am I remembering correctly or just getting senile?
It looks almost identical to my 2nd gen except for the blued extractor and adjustable sites.
