People at gas stations, really?

Vehicle operation by 80% of those on the road is very scary, regardless of cause, electronic devices, dancing while driving, looking for something on seat, console, glove box, arguing with kids in back seat, DRIVING SLOW in LEFT lane, whatever.

Failure to signal turns, tailgating, speeding, no look lane changes, reading, eating, flossing teeth, putting makeup on….…

Good reason I sold my Harley.

There are cities/towns around here where you can be fined for leaving a running pump unattended. Not to mention the guys who will pull the nozzle out of your car and fill theirs.

As one who actually reads the messages on the pumps, every one I've seen says you need to stay right there at the pump.

Fiddling inside your car because it's cold, hot, or you received that all important text that your nail appt has been scheduled, is not a reason to move away from the nozzle.

Drive aways ? I haven't seen a pump that wasn't card or prepay for good 20 years

I've just returned from three weeks in Europe, and one of my biggest fears was that I would do a drive-off after 25 years of pay-before-you-pump in Vegas.
