PERSONALIZED LICENSE PLATES

I was in the lottery for JAGUAR and FERRARI. I lost. Later I thought about KAR120C and XK120, but they were already taken. When I move to Nevada, I'll see what is available.

When you come here don't bother trying to get GOLF GTI. I know the girl that has it.:D She was staggered it hadn't been snapped up before.

Used to work with a guy named Tom, who drove a Cougar. His was TOMS CAT.

I always thought that was cute.

I am amazed at the number if plates I see on the road that make absolutely no sense to anyone except to the owners who obviously have more money than good sense.

A fellow pulled into a parking lot just ahead of me. His plate read, "snobdr". A young fellow hopped out of the car and held the door to the store open for me.
" I have to ask" I said, "What is a snob doctor?". Thinking he just might be a Hollywood plastic surgeon.
Apparently, I was not the first person to ask because he growled his answer, "SNOW BOARDER, SNOW BOARDER!"

The only one I ever had was years ago and it was my Ham radio call sign but, like someone else has already mentioned I didn't want to stick out but just blend as much as possible.

We have a lot in my area that also, as someone else has already mentioned makes absolutely no sense except probably to their owners.

Mine is BKREUTZ

it's my last name minus a few letters (they only allow 8) I made it something I could remember and I've had it since 1985.

There are a lot of opinions on vanity, or personalized plates where some like em and some don't. I like mine and it took years for me to finally get my initials. Nothing special but I also get unique plates that cost extra. Mine come with an extra charge that helps support national parks. Sure they cost more but, when I think of the money I waste on some other things, this ain't bad.

I've had this tag on my 2004 Corvette Z06 for years.
Pretty easy to understand.

Years ago I saw a plate in Santa Fe with "MALPASO". Could have had something to do with Clint Eastwood's production company of that name, or maybe just a fan?
