Funny you mentioned that. Several years ago I saw a hearse with STIFF 1.

I've also seen a little red coupe with HYOFCR.

Many states have restrictions as to what can go on a personalized license plate. But occasionally something naughty gets by the license plate censors. There are several websites showing such plates.

We had ARMORY and FIREPWR on our cars in OK. No specialty plates for us in TX...

Boyd Davis in AZ had "BAD" on his car (his initials). His wife outdid him with "WORSE."

Over the years I’ve see quite a few vanity plates. But here are a few I’ve remember over the years.

“For plaintive” on a Big $$ Benz, “First Pick” on what was then a New 911, and perhaps the best “Hoppon” on a V.W. Rabbit convertible, which was driven by a really cute 20 something year old lady.

One more, solmysoul on a new BMW M-3.

In my younger days I use to have custom plates but for no particular reason decided to not have my vehicles readily identified. I also refuse to give the State double or triple the registration fee!

Interesting story.
One day, back in the 90's when slammed mini trucks were popular, I was on my way to work.
A slammed mini truck pulls out in front of me and Van Halen's "Running with the Devil" comes on the radio. It was then that I noticed that the slammed mini truck's license plate said. "SATAN."
Just a coincidence or a message?

Best one I ever saw was in Santa Monica in the 80s, a lovely tanned blonde beauty driving a snow white convertible VW Rabbit.
