I just recently purchased a Sig P365 as some might have read here on my posts. I have been shooting it as much as possible and have come to prefer the FLAT floor plate mag over the one with the Pinky extension. My hands are large and even though my Pinky partially catches the extended version slightly, it's not enough to get a full purchase on. I find it more comfortable to just tuck my Pinky underneath the FLAT version.

Is there anyone out here who is experiencing the opposite? If so I might be inclined to swap out the Floor Plate. I also pocket carry half the time and find the Flat version to be more conducive for that as well. I'd be interested in comments from actual owners just for my own info.

I’ve come to prefer the 12 round mag. I carry in an OWB R Grizzle holster and the 12 rd prints less than the 10 for me. 12+1 rounds in a gun smaller than the Glock 43 and S&W Shield is hard to beat!

Just me, but I never saw the sense in buying a compact gun for concealment and then adding magazine extensions.

Personal preference I guess. I use the flush magazine with my Glock 43 and carry a spare mag with an extension. I also tuck my pinky finger under. Doesn’t bother me any.
