I agree with regard to the 9c vs. the Shield. If the Shield were small enough to pocket carry, I might see the advantage, but unfortunately, it isn't.

Actually I pocket carry my Shield or my 40c without any problem.

Im 6 foot 2 and about 270 pounds. I love my 40c. Carry it everyday in a IWB Old Faithful Holster. Dont even know its there most of the time and it is completely concealed. I consider it a great carry gun. Hope this helps

I pocket carry my Shield also on quick trips -- it just makes it. But that is ok.

However, it is somewhat heavy to be slinging around all day in a pocket. That is what my 642 is for.

Yeah, depending on the pants, it probably could be done by me in a pinch, but it's a less than ideal option as compared to the P238 I normally pocket carry with.
