How fun. I used to love power outages as a kid.

Today we are fine when electricity goes out. Natural gas heat, hot water, and cook stove. Also a propane BBQ outside. But in our 110 degree summer without A/C may not be so fun.

Internet by semaphore is a VERY interesting process. I don't recommend photo-heavy sites that way, it loses something in translation.

I use my Android cellphone for web access these days. Actually eliminated my internet provider and shut off the landline. So I no longer am hardwired to the system. Saves about $75 dollars.a month.
