Prayer request

First i would like to start off with an apology i am sorry i have not been on the forum for the last 2 days.

Second today i completed the 3rd day of the 4th week of my chemotherapy treatment.

i also saw my cancer doctor on Monday my white blood cell count has gone down a little more and i am slightly anemic but i have been put on medication to keep it in check.

Thank you all for your prayers kind word's and encouragement. If it weren't for my family and my second family here on this forum i don't think i would have been able to endure this horrible nightmare.

Because to be honest this has been a nightmare an ugly nightmare.

Keep your head up & fight this thing! You can do it! Prayers continue.

Matthew, you're still one bad hombre in my book -- and it takes one to fight it out with cancer. I'm sure the chemo is taking a toll on you while it is working to obliterate the cancer, and you're bound to have good days as well as not-so-good. I hope tomorrow will be a better one, and the day after, and the day after, but if a down one comes along, I hope you'll take solace in the fact that you feel bad because the drugs are doing their job, and it'll be worth it over the long haul. In the meantime, prayers and good thoughts keep heading your way from down here in NC. (And basketball season is just around the corner, so we'll both have something to look forward to!)

MG, keep the faith my friend, you have a lot of pretty good folks pulling for you! I know you will beat this monster.

I'm praying this ordeal will be in your rear view mirror very soon Matthew.
Keep up the strong fight my friend.

Ladies and Gentlemen of the S&W Forum I Have official finished my 4th week of chemotherapy treatment, and i am in very good spirits between my family's support and prayers and the support and prayers from my other family here on this forum i am going to get through this.

Not too sure how I missed this thread MG. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. My honey went through two bouts of chemo fighting stage 3C breast cancer. It is a tough go, but the doctors work wonders. In her 8th week of the second round her white and red counts were both down so she got a transfusion and man, did that make her feel good! She asked for one every visit after that. 3 months of it for her....

I guess the story is, HANG IN THERE! I have faith that you will come through with flying colors!

Stay Strong,

Ron

Way to go MG, keep your chin up, we are all praying for you and support you. Please continue to give us progress updates!!

I'm glad you're feeling so good, Matthew, and with four rounds of treatments completed, you're well on your way to the finish line there. Thanks for the updates, and keep 'em coming!

UPDATE: I have my 6th week of cancer treatment yesterday, it was a short week one day treatment and i am worn out my muscles hurt and i am very fatigued because my magnesium levels are low but i have been put on magnesium supplements and there helping I am also slightly anemic but i am also on medication for that and its helping.

Please continue to pray for me.

sincerely mg357 a proud member of the S&W Forum.
