Primer Question

This primer seating thing is interesting. I use CCI primers almost exclusively for my handgun and rifle handloading and only experienced difficulty seating CCIs twice - once in the 1970s with Winchester .38 Special and .357 Magnum brass and recently with Hornady .44 Magnum brass left over from test-firing some factory-loaded hunting ammo. I usually use Remington brass for everything except .45ACP, for which I use Starline. CCI 300s and 500s always slip right in both and I use RCBS hand-held priming tools.
