From the first week of April until the 26th of June we got about 1/2 inch of rain. I watered the garden an average of about 100 hours per week during May and the first three weeks of June. It paid off. Here's what we picked this morning.
We finally got three inches of rain Sunday night, and another 1.2 inches yesterday. Vines are in good shape, so the 'maters and peas should continue to bloom and produce for several more weeks. I have younger tomato plants set, so I hope to have them until the fall. The okra and peppers will just keep on and on, until frost or when I decide to mow them down.
