Question for ruger hands...

Maybe better posting on a ruger forum but since not signed on with any and with the knowledge and willingness available here, thought I'd try posting it.
Is anyone familiar with the LC9 (9mm conversion kit) for the LC 380?
I've never seen or heard of one until today and was curious. Thanks.

I have an LC9s and an LC380. I know for sure that the magazines interchange. The LC9s and and the LC9 use the same magazines, so therefore we know that Ruger engineered the magwells to be the same. It is also reasonable to assume that the original LC9 slides will fit on a LC380 frame, and vice versa. It just makes engineering sense.

You have to wonder if Ruger had a whole bunch of LC9 top ends hanging around after everybody jumped to the LC9s. Hey presto, they become the 9mm conversion kit for the LC380. Sadly, for fans of 380 ACP, Ruger never made an LC380s.

Have you asked Ruger? If it works, it should be on Ruger's website or perhaps their online store since it is not an item that must go to an FFL.

The price Ruger want for the 9mm kit is ridiculous, about 30% more than you would pay for a new EC9s.
