I made this for my sons to use in the backyard. It also works well for practices where there isn’t a mound available.

I copied it from pictures of one I saw on Etsy. What do you think?

My wife and I had our wedding anniversary so we wanted to get out a bit.

So we stayed in state and went to a nice hotel. Place was super clean and had lots of preparation for Covid. Outdoor dining and everything else. The weather held pretty well for a New England mid October.

In the distance is Hammonasset State park, first time we went to it very very nice with two miles of beach front. Place has an interesting history from Winchester testing grounds to WW2 fighter live bombing runs.

I think that is Faulkner Island in the distance.
If it wasnt hazy you could see Long Island NY in the distance.

Looking down Long Island Sound toward NY.
The tent was being set up for a wedding. They had an outside wedding on the beach! On what was the same Saturday as we were married! (date was off a day or two)

This is a shot of the street where I used to live in Phoenix as a boy, taken at sunset during the Christmas season. The candelarias are a tradition there that started in the 1940s and continue to the present day. I make a special visit there every year. It brings back many pleasant memories and warms my heart.

My gf in Bellingham WA has a "passion for passion flowers" and has several kinds in her fabulous garden, which looks like this at this time of year. Some she has to bring in in the winter, like this hybrid (which is Zone 10- Costa Rica!) which she just took a pic of today. For the curious it's a Purple Tiger (passiflora Quadrangularis + Phoenecia hybrid.)

So there I was up at Arches National Park.
Was talking to some Germans. They were well informed on an early moon rise.
Maybe coming through the keyhole.
I fire up my Garmin. Garmin say when and where including Direction.
Yes through the hole!
Utah has great places for Moon Rises!
