From my walk the other day:
Was fanning through the pictures and had to back up on this one.
It reminded me of a vist to my wifes's brothers place, on an early morning trip to see the sights, in the area.
The water systems were hitting the fields, in Greenwich, Utah.

Once upon a time in Elmsford NY.
This is a picture of one of the first McDonalds burger stands in the early 1950s. It was taken at the SW corner of Central Avenue and Indian School Road in Phoenix. I was in high school then and remember vividly buying hamburgers there for fifteen cents!

Space Shuttle Atlantis heading up the on ramp to State Road 405
That's exactly what it was. I took the picture on the other side
of the mountain to the west from Greenwich on HWY 89 in Junction.

Space Shuttle Enterprise
Space Shuttle Enterprise had no engines so it could only glide to perform atmospheric test flights after being launched from a modified Boeing 747.
It made a stop at Tulsa International Airport back in 1979 & I was able to get a couple 35mm pictures of it on approach & at the airport.
I scanned the negatives into my digital achieves.

Back in my rock climbing days, I always roped up.

I worked at Dulles Airport in the early 80's and one day while I was driving to work a 747 with the shuttle riding piggy back was flying by and people stopped in the middle of the road got out of their cars and stood in the road staring.
I saw it on the tarmac and it was pretty cool.
