The first reloading session after moving to our new home. 6.5CM load development...
New kitten
OK, now that I have your attention...
A photographer friend of my gf's was out in inclement weather taking some pics and as she was setting up a tricky shot, heard a faint "miaow" and discovered a tiny, cold, wet kitten at her feet. She scooped it up, dried it off, put it in her car and drove home, where she fed it and, well. the rest is history. They already have 3 cats and her husband was undecided about this one but it glommed onto him and he was smitten.
As found in the great outdoors, a soggy blob:
Settled in
And an added bonus pic. A friend who works at a cat shelter had these three Himalayans come in from some place in the interior of the province

Took the Roadster to Bisbee for breakfast this morning...
Found a 1946 copy of The NRA Book of Small Arms in an antique shop after breakfast. Should make for some interesting reading.

We come in from the Hwy 62, Greenwich area, when we get a chance, for an outting.
I have to agree that it is "God's country" back in that area and I try
to let them give me a little time to wet a line, since I don't go for "Big Game" any more.

I'm back over in Japan for the holidays. Here's a guy riding a bicycle. Over here, and I think in much of the world, bicycles are not just for kids and adult sport and recreation. They're a convenient means of getting around for all ages. It is not uncommon to see even quite elderly people riding bikes.
FedEx delivered this surprise package today. It is from a thoughtful forum member. Perfect timing as it brightened our day.
