Generosity takes many forms

My cat brought me breakfast this morning. Fortunately I had already had my regulation banana, yogurt and granola.

He does this from time to time, I think to remind me of my totally underwhelming foraging and hunting skills.

Finished this Trumpeter 1/16 T-72B today.

The kit is a display-only version of a R/C kit, so it was much simpler than the M4A3E8 I finished about three weeks ago.

Pair of glasses included for scale.

We have quite a few feral cats around us and since our last fur-baby Petra the whippet passed away they feel quite comfortable in the back yard jungle. Since Mom's dementia progressed she no longer remembers how to garden, hence the jungle. One of the cats had a couple kittens and they have been staying back there. The only thing I provide is water. There are plenty of other folks who leave them food. This morning they were out and about before it got too hot.

Neighbor put some old banana out in her feeders today. Birds, squirrels, everyone was having a ball. This evening I noticed this. The flies were having fun on top but the hackberry emperor butterflies were what grabbed my attention.
