Tough old willow

This took a beating a few years ago when we had an ice storm but it survived despite the trunk being split.

The real reason for going over there yesterday was to check the trail camera outside the fence at the back of the property for wildlife.

A whack of deer, couple of coyotes and three bears, including this family outing:

Good morning my S&W friends. Long time no see. :(

My best friend came down from SLC for a few days and brought some new guns that he had
not shot yet so it was off to our gun range.

He bought a S&W M&P 45 Shield with a 3.375" barrel, just like mine.
And a new Lynx Defender FN Five-Seven, 5.7x28mm with a PSA Rock Optic scope.
What a sweet gun to shoot.
He brought his dad's Ruger .357 Magnum, another sweet gun to shoot.
And his new Kimber Micro 9.
He wasn't all that happy with this one.

All I brought was my two M&P 45s, I love both of these guns.
And my Model 58. (insert big red heart) ;)
I was going to bring my Model 640-1 .357 Magnum because
I wanted him to experience a real .357 Magnum but forgot to grab it.

I love how "crisp" the M58 is when you squeeze the trigger. :D
I am lethal with my bigger M&P 58 the other two you'll just die a slow painful death. ;)

I'm glad he brought his new guns. That 5.7 is a really nice shooter.
Every time he shot his new M&P 45 Shield he just kept saying, "That's a big bullet". LOL
First time shooting a .45 for him.
Fun day and I need to start shooting more than I have been the last year or two.
