Bullard VTL I fixed back in 90s.
I ran a Dynatrol, a Man-au-trol, and a 36” “kick” Bullard when I was in my late teens. Worked my way up through the ranks and retired as a Manager after a 38+ year career. I look back on it fondly now but at the time it was back breaking work.

Pretty tough machines. This one was reassembled by idiots after a relocation using silicone sealant which broke off clogging oil pump. Ruined main bearing and outer bearing which costs close to $100K back in 90s. Took over a month to replace and correctly set bearing “ backlash”. All loose silicone sealant had to be removed which was done by some other maint. people. What a job. IIRC the table weighed close to 4 tons.

A glass "bottom" boat taken to the extreme.
