Mural at Night

On a building in Plaza-Midwood.

No, I have no idea what any of the symbolism means. Except the little white objects at the feet of the skeletons are empty cans of Pabst Blue Ribbon. And the emblem on the boat's sail is the PBR logo, without the words.

I suppose if someone has been staggering from bar to brewery to bar, the mural could mean just about any damn thing to them.

Shark, Sirens, BIG jellyfish and a skeleton band.
Empty one eyed boat. No idea either.

Then again, I've been known to eat a shiner when drinking PBR...

Hungry Dogs!

Annie gives Beau the dreaded Rottweiler Death Stare to keep him from making a move on the Milk-Bones.

Beau won't look at her, in a poor attempt to convince her that Milk-Bones are the last thing on his mind.

There's never any doubt as to who's the Top Dog around here.

They never fail to make me smile.

George Thorogood

There's not very much I like about Portland.

But the Waterfront Park Blues Festival is one of the few things I do like. I saw George Thorogood and the Destroyers there a couple days ago. He's not one of my favorites, but he was somewhat entertaining. I was torn between posting these here, or on the music thread:
