Excuse my ignorance, but what is that? A potato picker vaccum thing-a-ma-jig?

Cotton picking Cotton Picker.
This is the first really successful mechanical one.
It’s a Farmall made by International Harvestor.
It was Designed as a Kit which mounted on a regular tricycle high crop tractor.
The picking head is mounted on the rear of the tractor and the collection basket is mounted over the engine.
So the tractor is running backwards!
Unfortunately, IH is no more!
The last Cotton Pickers I saw were over in AZ.
They were 4 row JOHN DEERES.
 
Wonder how cold they keep that room so the butter won't melt? Any idea?
I have no idea. It's in a giant glass case, so I'm sure they have no trouble keeping it cold. I can tell you the rest of the complex is always too warm for me. Even in the dead of winter.
