A Sneak Peak at my Wife's Drawers

Ah Ha! Gotcha!

When we built this buffet several years ago, I built a pull out drawer so her three in one slow cooker would have a home. She was a happy camper. Recently, she asked for another one that would occupy part of the open cabinet in the buffet. It had a shelf and a couple of baskets.

OK, some hard maple and a little woodworking magic, and VOILA! A second drawer is now in place and she has already started putting stuff away.

Yup, walking the banks of my favorite trout stream I never fail to tangle with a couple of these ornery buggers.

If you're like me, when you see a four-barrel carb sticking out of the hood of a Nissan ZX, you don't hate but think: "Cool, somebody swapped in a junkyard V-8 and made a hardcore rat rod."

And then, depression set in...

How about that junkyard Q-Jet glued & screwed over a hole hacked out of the top of the factory manifold? Ladies and germs, this thing actually ran.
