Daddy Daughter Night last night. Two of my daughters are here from out of town.

We've been doing DDNs Sept 2012. This was our first DDN and one daughter couldn't make it.

We've done comedy shows,

Live theater, (Chitty Chitty Bang Bang at the Hale Center Theatre in SLC)

Spook Alleys,

Paint Nights and lots of other activities.

This is what I live for. I have no idea what I ever did to end up being such a lucky dad. :D

I let my pooch out every couple of hours to do his thing (when he's awake), so I know this wasn't there about two hours prior, because we both step right over that area. I let him out the next time and this "castle" had been constructed next to our landscape stones, Within Two Hours! Little bridges and everything!

Now I didn't see an ant in sight, so I figure they must be pooped and sleeping after all that work.

I was supposed to rain that very night too. It was all gone the next day. One of nature's wonders.

Could hear mother wren thumping around in her nesting box....thought she was trying to get the chicks to fly the coop.
She may of been encouraging mister shedding lizard to leave the nesting area.

Mr lizard sure is a bright green wearing that new coat.

Celestron Nexstar 127 SLT which is a computerized go to 'scope where once you set up the controller with date, time, location you calibrate on known stars and you can punch in to view to track to Jupiter or Saturn or Mars. I must have it set right when I do it because it is interesting to see those planets. I also have the recommended accessories, filters, Barlow and Plossl lenses as well as a battery pack because the batteries you load into the telescope run out quickly. Some things such as a moon filter is a must because the moon through a telescope is shockingly bright. I also have Steiner 7 x 50 and Zeiss 15 x 56 binoculars for use in moon and planet viewing. The Zeiss also work great mounted on a tripod as a low powered spotting scope.

Cool little "random object" discovered at the in-laws. The WWI Shaving Kit of hubby's grandpa.

That reminded me. I went looking in my armoire and found my grandfather's old razor. included in the small box is a couple old rusted single edge blades with a paper cover that says:
Marlin
Gunmakers since 1870
Single Edge
