That's a real portable bench you have there! Have you sorted your brass by some criteria, or is that just the random way they ended up in your bins?

On the bright side, it has brand new rubber!
I recently traded in my c.1980 gray-market Yanmar on a c.1993 25hp Kubota and it came with new rubber. I built a canopy from left over metal roofing to keep the rain and sleet off me when clearing snow.

I also added LED floodlights under the lip of the canopy as the factory headlights were useless.

I built a DIY canopy for my JD this summer,,
My neighbor had an old truck camper cover that was given to me for free,,
I cut the center out of the roof with a circular saw,, and fabbed a bracket,,

Nice! My only boo-boo with mine was miscalculating the length of the legs to support the front of the cover, with the result that it slopes slightly downward rather than being level. Of course, in use, the tractor is rarely level so the rain may not always drip off the front. However, I still have some corrugated roof material, so I'm going to cut a piece and fasten it to the the front upside down with the "trough" just in front of the edge so it acts as a gutter.

I found that the ROPS wasn't quite square to the frame so the back of the canopy is a bit off-square, but it's really not noticeable. I debated fastening it into the ROPS but in the end I made up some turnbuckles and clamped it down, using one of the ROPS connector bolts.

I also put a LED floodlight on the back (not in the pic above) to give me some added visibility when clearing snow since the blade is on the back.

I contemplated adding an espresso machine and infotainment screen to keep up with the times/whatever, but decided against it. Distracted driving and all that...

I see scads of cottontail bunnies around my place, but I rarely have
a visit from their big cousins.

This jackrabbit seems to be perfectly content on the corner of my
deck this morning. We got about 3" of the white stuff yesterday.

When I saw this I thought of the comment (variously attributed to Julian Huxley, Lord Bowen and several others):

"A metaphysician [or philosopher] is a man who goes into a dark cellar at midnight without a light looking for a black cat that is not there."
