I took out my new 9c this afternoon. Aside from the awful 8 lb, mushy trigger, it performed great. I never thought I'd fantasize about a Glock trigger. I shot 20 rounds of cheap PMC and another 50 rounds of reloads. I only shot four 5 shot groups at 20 yards. Of these groups the worst was 3.4" and the best was 2.04". The average was 2.97". These were from sand bags. I thought these were pretty decent groups considering the circumstances (**** trigger, cheap ammo, windy). There was a gusty 5-25 mph wind. I shot some steel at 20 and 50 yards and felt like I did pretty well. I did not have any equipment failures of any kind. The gun ran flawlessly. I know this isn't a target gun. But with a little work on the trigger I think it could be a very nice range gun. I didn't shoot any close stuff. Overall, it was a very nice first run. I think we will become close friends in time.:D

That's awesome. I could only hope to shoot that well with my M&P 9C.

Let's just say I need a little practice.

I really like my 9c. I just bought an SR9c and will do a comparison as soon as I feel like the Ruger is broken in. My preliminary opinion is that the Ruger has a better trigger, but I do shoot the M&P9c really well so we'll see. Congrats on your new shooter.
