The way I see it is words are like punctuation. As long as I get the gist of what someone is saying I don't care what words they use. English is my first language. Grammar is how and where I was raised. We can't all be English professors.

And to contradict what I just wrote the term "assault rifle" is my favorite.

I may be wrong here but, it irritates the heck out of me when someone says something is "times less". An example "I make ten times less than he does". Doesn't he actually make one tenth as much. I hear this all the time. Even from some pretty smart people so maybe they're right when they say that, but I don't agree. I mean, if it is "times" wouldn't that indicate more?

And Valentimes day

Manifesting: the act of making something happen by imagining it and consciously thinking it will happen.

Politically correct me would call that wishful thinking. Snarky me would call that irrational to the point of willful delusion. And yet, that is a thing. <SMH>

Think I'm gonna manifest me winning lottery numbers.

GOAT
"At this point in time." What's wrong with "now"?
Do you want to upgrade that to....?

Or, at this point, or at this time. "This point in time" sounds awful and is saying the same thing twice.

Many "upgraders" are often "downgrading" without knowing it; especially applicable when it comes to guns.
