I just happened to be watching The Three Stooges Saturday evening and happened to see this business in the background of one of their car crash scenes, and found it kinda interesting.

Remington Rand commercial products are/were all business machines. They only made 1911s on Government contract.

RR had theIr pistol plant in Syracuse NY. They were the largest M1911A1 producer during WWII.

The 3 stooges were great, classic slapstick comedy, and Curly was the best stooge, IMO.
