Just got a text from Rusty, and gave him a call. I've cut and pasted his text below. As you can see he is most happy!
"I go home tomorrow. The two stents were successful and all my numbers are dropping to normal ranges.
An endoscopy doctor, a gastric surgeon and a hematology oncologist all told me this morning that even though my biopsy results aren't back yet that they all believe the cancer is localized and treatable with surgery and chemo.
I am an old hat at surgery and chemo so I've got this. I have been doing a lot of tearful praying as I was truly scared but after the answers I got today a great peace has washed over me and I am heartily encouraged.
Ruthie and my family are besides themselves with hope and joy.
Praise be unto Him."

Praying the biopsy results show that it is localized. You can do this Rusty.
Wood, thanks for the update, good to hear. Rusty, keep punching. Once you get it on the ground you put the boots to it, you hear. Remember, if you find yourself in a fair fight, your tactics suck. When this fight is over, I expect you to be the one who walks out of the Thunderdome, having vanquished your foe. Still hoping for the best possible outcome. Also thinking of Ruthie and the kids.
