I am hoping I have this in the right place. I picked this up for $350 today and would love to know the date of manufacture. Serial ADL0571

Also what is the difference between a 64-1 and 64-2

I'm too lazy to go upstairs and check the book to see what the revision change was between -1 & -2.

Well my 64-1 has a pinned barrel and flat side trigger...

Very nice. I have a 64-2 also. Mine was made in 1983. I really wanted a model 66 with 2 1/2 inch bbl, but after I bought this one I'm totally happy with it.

64-2 was a change to move the gas ring from the yoke to the cylinder on 2inch tapered barrel versions according to the SCSW.
