S&W 642 Power Port finish?

Does anyone know what this finish is? It looks like black stainless, or at least I think this is what S&W calls it.

It looks just like that of the 442. I was going to buy the 442 until I noticed the Powerport pro and I'm glad I did.

This little revolver rocks! Minimal recoil and the trigger has smoothed out so nicely. I put a Nitesighter dot up front and it works.

So I guess it's a black anodized finish over the aluminum/stainless steel?
