S&W 66-1 manufactur date

I'm new to posting in this forum so if I do wrong I'm sorry. I just received a S&W 66-1 357mag/38spl. 2.5 in. barrel with SR # 89K5070 can anyone tell me manufacture date. don't know how to post pictures. it has the finger grove grip with the S&W emblem on it. any information on this gun will be appreciate.

Catalog says it was made in 1980.
I have one just like it that is near that serial number. It is my most often carried non J-Frame revolver.

can you tell me what fram it is and I know you can't see it but what value would you put on one like this.

It is the K-Frame.
If those are the correct stocks and you have the original box and documents with it would easily go for about $850.

Welcome to the forum! Take pics and down load them on your 'puter. When posting, go down to "manage attachments" and you can add them that way.
