Great pic, thanks for posting.

Cool S&W aside, methinks he's still up the creek without a paddle. His reloading time should be on the slow side, unless he has one of those "cheaply made revolvers that are nice to look at" as a New York (or El Paso?) reload.
 
Well he already has used two round and looks like a third as well...with two more guys coming over the ridge he better not miss.....nice art work.

That's debatable. You are assuming that the two fallen soldiers were his opponents, that he's the one who shot them and that he shot them after his last reload. More importantly two of his buddies are further up the ridge firing rifles at the charging enemies.

However, you do bring up a question. The British had speed loaders for their top break .455 Webleys. Were there any for top break S&Ws?
