Sacramento CA may get CCW

Apparently the sheriff is using giving CCW to law abiding citizens as a threat to the county board of supervisors so they won't cut his budget. CCW is so political around here. I hope he makes good on his threat.

He should make good on the threat period. One should not have anything to do with the other. He threatens that if there are cuts in the sheriff's dept that he will issue more CCW permits. He should issue the permits to qualified people in any case.

A Sheriff finally calling the politicians on their usual bluff when they've spent themselves into oblivion. Cutting Police, Fire, schools etc. first.

I pray all of California will have CCW at some date soon. They have it here in Kansas and it should be everywhere, why should only the bad guys carry guns.

I swear, I hate California so bad that I wish the whole freakin' state would drop off into the Pacific. Sure it would be tragic to lose millions of Americans and illegal aliens that way, but I'm sure we'd all get over it in about ten minutes or so.

I used to feel that way, but then I realized that the blue counties usually run along the coast. Usually.

This last presidential election saw some changes, more than the usual coastal counties went blue.

But, you could still get rid of the blue and have a pretty decent state, with just a few isolated pockets of blue surrounded by red.

If the SF bay area broke off, it would be an even shorter drive from the beach to the mountains.
