M69, 4 1/4" L Frame .44 Mag w/Leupold 4x. Scoped for accuracy testing. Turns out to be a very handy little package - compact and reasonably light weight (48.3oz on my food scale). Probably more practical w/2x Leupold

FA97 3 1/2" round butt .45 Colt w/2x Leupold -- looks funny, but handles real well and only weighs about 43 oz.

FA97 5 1/2" .357 Mag w/2x Leupold.

These are the only ones I have pictures. Took the pictures some time ago because these shorter/smaller guns are typically not scoped.

A Ruger Super Blackhawk Hunter with a Ultradot 30mm dot sight. Got this in a trade back in 1998 when SBH Hunters were kinda hard to find. It's from the first run, probably made in about '95-'96, before they put the Hunter back in production in the 2000's.

Picture of the first deer I took with it in January of 1999 during a snow storm. Had a 30mm Tasco ProClass 2x scope on it then.

Gotta get some better pictures. These are pretty sad, but all I've got.

Not a Smith but it IS a Wesson!

Scope is a Bushnell 2x32.
Now I wish I had obtained an extra barrel shroud so I could easily
switch to iron sights when needed.
The whole thing is kind of unwieldy.
I shoot my Encore in this caliber a lot more often.
It has aperature sights.

Good question. Some don't seem to get the implied covenant here that Smith & Wesson rules. Nice Contender.

Well the thread title is "scoped handgun picture thread", it says nothing about S&W or revolvers... I of course posted my scoped S$W revolver first however! :D

6" 629-6 with Weaver H2 2x28 - and Hogue/S&W .500 Magnum monogrip.

Mount rings are loose - they await a drop of rubber cement (Adds friction yet peels away.). Most of my 629s' life is spent with wood grips, iron sights, and launching .44 Specials and Russians.

Some may not be aware, but T/C products including my Encore are now made by S&W.
It says "Made by S&W" right on the frame and has a Smith style serial #.
The lockwork has been slightly redesigned as well.
It is very similar to the old rebounding hammer guns now.
As heavy as the springs are, I am amazed at how good the trigger is.

Only photo I have of my Model 41 7 inch tube, Conetrol mount, Leupold 2x scope. This from my friend first time shooting at all. Winter in Alaska. I told her to dress well for going to the shooting club...and she did for a club. Good sport though and we just kept the car running and the heater on high. She now has a couple of her own firearms.
