I mentioned in another thread that the white dot came off my front sight while shooting my sd40ve for the first time. It was suggested to me to just use some fingernail polish or enamel paint to fill the hole back in. My question is about the color. Should I just do white again, or has anyone else on here used a different color? Would a neon color be a little easier to see in low light conditions? Or would it look strange having 2 white dots on the back and something different in the middle? What have you guys done? Thanks

I like flourescent yellow-green over a white base coat. You can use hobby or craft paint available at Wal-Mart. Don't like it, remove it or paint over it.

Sweet Jesus...if my wife were to see this, she'd want to color coordinate with what's on her nails!!

Testors, the model paint company, has a number of colors that will work for this application. You can also grab a small brush-in bottle of automotive paint...both work great.
