Sear click happens only in double action. The "click" or jump associated with the sear happens most often when the sear has been improperly fit with an improper angle cut at the end of the sear. It can also happen when the sear has not been let out enough. (let out at the top via the adjustment step)
As a result the end of the sear hangs on the camming surface on top of the trigger above the bevel. Usual repair involves letting the sear out slightly by removing material from the adjustment step.....or changing the angle on the bevel of the sear. Use caution, as removal of too much material can cause "stubs", (sometimes called "stubber") which is the inability of the trigger and hammer interface to transition from the sear, over to the DA cam on each part. When the sear is too short, or let out too much, the DA cams on the hammer and trigger can "collide", rather than the cam on the hammer entering slightly above the trigger DA cam just prior to the transition.
