for 4" revolver plinking rounds.....

Have 210 & 215 g cast SWC to load;

have noted big change in accuracy between a 950 fps vs 1100 fps load with everything else 'the same'....using TiteGroup.....

surprised the 1100 fps load was grouping at about 1" at 40' bench rested paper targets.

Suggestions/comments appreciated.

Thanks max.....I'll be stuffing a few cases soon, will give your recipe a try!

Light loads, lead bullets, magnum cases = Trailboss. I've very good luck with it. I've used it in the 41 and 357. Instead of shooting 38 Specials for practice I use magnum cases with Trailboss. This eliminates the need to scrub the chambers before shooting the real magnums.

For my 41's I use 8.0 of Unique with a 210-220 grain bullets, firm crimp and mag primers. I put mag primers in all my 41 cases and don't need to worry about powders like 296 should I choose to make up hunting type loads. Gary

Im using Titegroup and a 215 LSWC at 1100fps. Great accuracy and a pleasant load to shoot as well..

I have 2 favorite ones, 1st is 215gr cast keith 6.9gr Universal Clays, 2nd is 215gr cast keith 10.8gr AA#7. Both are very accurate in my Rugers and shoot to point of aim. Charlie

.41 loads

Another vote for 10.8 AA#5 under most anything. My 57's like 16.2 of 2400, too. Haven't seen any leading issues with Oregon Trail Laser Cast, 215's, I think it is.
