I have Nightguard 315. For personal defense I bought some Magtec 125gr +p ammo. It fits so loosely in the cylinder that if I point the gun upwards the bullets will actually fall backwards in the gap between the cylinder and the frame. I have never fire the weapon with this ammo but the inexpensive rounds I use at the range do fit more snuggly. I am just wondering if this will hinder the rotation of the cylinder should I ever need to use the weapon. I am a fairly new shooter. Thanks.

I doubt it will make any difference. The firing pin will drive the cartridge forward if it needs to, and the recoil shield is contoured to push the cartridges back into place slightly. I notice nickel-plated cases tend to do this in several of my guns. I've never had any problem.

Thanks for your reply.
