There may be a serious problem going on here on this forum. At what point do some of the mods on our 15-22s cross over into the zone? Is it really necessary to mount something on every inch of our quad rails? Is there something pushing us into this zone? Could it be some mental deficiency that could be cured by taking the right vitamins? Did we drink too much beer, or not enough? I am deeply worried for all of us here...why is my head throbbing right now?

I happens in every sport. My 1911s are "single stackers," and that was expensive enough. Yikes, you should see some of the custom Harleys that rattle and clank into the bike parking lot.

Thousands spent on chrome, nothing on the engine. (And you should see the nuts wearing "SOA" colors...)

Hangers-on are part of life. You ever see a 300 pound couch potato wearing a football jersey? He's lucky he can pick up a donut, much less a fumble.

They want to be part of the sport or hobby. They just don't know how. This is where mentoring comes in. It helped me in life, and I think we now have to pay it forward.

Thats why they have quad rails, so that they can be filled with thingies. Same with closets, the bigger the closet, the more clothes wifey can manage to stuff in it. Which is more impressive, a naked quad rail, or one that has neat tactical cool thingies hanging all over it? Mind you this is on a .22 RF.

Breath deep, now take another, one more time and let it out slowly....

This happens once you touch or smell Melinite or Polymer on an M&P of any model or style. Sorry to say,but it IS incurable. It will never go away.
There is always something new to try. Too much "stuff" on your AR just triggers the impulse to buy another AR so you can add more "stuff". The sent from cleaning your AR (or handguns),also triggers the impulse for more and better. In short...you're screwed. :o Hello,I'm "Max" and I'm an M&P-oholic. It all started.............:o

It is a pernicious and insidious disease, principally affecting those with more money than common sense. :o

I think that the severity of the manifestation is inversely proportional to the amount of actual shooting experience the patient has - newbys will buy anything! :D

That's that "thing/place" where "we" only have a few "Sunday go to meeting cloths hiden some where in that place???

Shoe's. You forgot the shoe's. Tons of shoe's,shoe's everywhere of all different colors....BOOT's !!!! Those too !!!! AAHHHHhhhhhh!!!!. Thank God for the Mancave !!!

Some of us, with actual real world experience on the battlefield, just like to have something to remind us of those times. Mine's set up pretty much the way I carried in Iraq.

My oldest grandson (age 15) is getting one for his birthday, the end of December. I have no doubt David will dress his out just like the M4 his dad carried in Iraq, too. :)

BTW, my youngest grandson (age 8) is getting one for Christmas, as well.

To each their own. Deal with it.

Every purchase, no matter how stupid you think, supports a growing industry in America. The gun sub-culture must remain strong.
