Shoot It or Scrap It ??

This model is one of the first S&W dealer exclusive models sold only by Wolf and Klar until much later in production.

After cleaning and confirming it shoots OK: my options are one of three things, nothing and shoot/enjoy it as is, resell it, or fix it right.

The first thing I'd do is look for a B (originally blued), or N or no letter (originally nickel plated at the factory) in front of the barrel serial #.

If originally nickeled, your in luck. All the dents can be filled with brazing, fix front sight, and the surface leveled and polished properly, then nickel plated. But not waste money on engraving.

If a blue gun, micro welded to fill dents and sight, the surface leveled and polished properly, and properly blued.

Then keep it and enjoy it until it's inherited by a family member.

I think the OP has been given great advice on cleaning up to shoot, or ideas as a project gun, but...

Can you shoot a picture of your entire wall?

I like it. :)

Sure here is a short tour around the reloading room

Your walls would be good. But I think he is wanting a picture of the wall in Post #35.

The Carbs are my favorites AJ !!

Only have one left. Got focused on other things and sold them. Kept the one my Aunt gave me when she found out I collected them. It had belonged to my Uncle and I believe he had bought it in the 60's for about $20.00 IIRC. At one time I use to carry the M1A1's to the range in violin cases.

Maybe we ought to start a thread of the walls of our rooms! I can contribute eight walls (two rooms).

Jeez oh man! I have a lot of catching up to do! People think I have a collection, I'm way behind. [emoji16]
