i was trying to find that thread. do you know it it will be a steel 686 7 shot, and not titanium. i just about bought a 2 1/2 inch 686 dash nothing. but am really interested in the 686 3 inch 7 shot

Actually, they are introducing it TOMORROW - Jan 11 is the first day of the SHOT Show, and I am hoping some photos emerge online in the next 48 hours. I personally will be scouring the web and blogs for photos and will post any to this forum as I find them.

The pic I got from my local Smith Rep. showed an all steel 686 w/3" barrel. Just picture a regular 4" 686 with an inch shorter barrel. I hope you do find some pics from SHOT since I don't have access to a scanner to post the pic I have.
Oh yeah, it is a 7 shooter too according to the description.

Catman I have never been able to trace any of them back to a maker , I'm just always on the lookout for them . A lot of them have come from pawn shops over the past 25 years . thanks PHILLIP
