i have recently decided that mr. spegels extended boot grips are the answer to my problems. i a two 29 mtn gun that i love to shoot. it has smooth buffalo horn panels and while it looks superb, it isn't the answer for control. the grips are slightly short and my pinky likes to fall below the grip frame, and because they are smooth i must wear a glove to keep a good grip while shooting. in the "custom defense revolver thread" i saw a pair of spegels that i really liked on cprhr's 657 that look like they will solve both problems. i would like to see ANY spegel grips you may have. what i am primarily interested is the wood type and grade if you can include, but if not please still post the pics as i would love to see em'

Bolivian Rosewood standard grade, extended rnd-to-sqr conversion boot grips on a 627-0. These have been the most comfortable grips I've ever owned.

I bought these from Craig Spegel many years ago when he first started selling grips. I saw an ad in Combat Handguns praising his work and just had to have a set. That was probably over 20 years ago.
