Show Us Your Ashland Guns

I've seen a couple of the Ashland 617's sell on GB. One 4" and one 6". I've also seen a couple not sell. The asking prices were very high. I'd love to have a 6" as I really don't like the full length underlug.

Its the law of supply and demand,
If you would be satisfied with a blued version just pickup a 17-5, if you like the added protection of the SS finish you could send that 17-5 off to be hard chromed too.

I've got one of their 60-1 snub targets, and I lucked into a new old stock spare barrel I had swapped onto a (lock delete) 60-15 with a damaged front sight. Both shoot great.

....and another Ashland 60-1....
Said to have been about 660 of these made, but there is no shortage of them on the market at almost any given time.
It does shoot well, perhaps better than you may expect.

I've got another one but I can't find the photo. My wife claims it's hers.

Found the picture of the other one, along with a couple other unusual M-60's

Scrolling through auction thumbnails, I saw the one below and got pretty excited thinking it might be one of those rare 617 6" Ashland guns. After blowing up the picture, I knew it couldn't be due to the pinned barrel, but bought it anyway. It's a 17 no dash, hard chromed with a 647 cylinder.

It's not rare --- it's unique!

I remember buying my first 2.5" 66 new at their storefront in Ashland. Circa 1981?. Dealers & L.E. only, IIRC.

Missed several of their exclusive offerings over the years. Coulda, Shoulda, Woulda,,,
