My dear wife bought this sho' nuff Stetson for me for our second anniversary. Spuds Mackenzie and the band went on when it was new.

She made me quit wearing "that old thing" some years ago & got me a nice, shiny new bright white Stetson that I never really warmed to.

I recently came across it hidden in a closet. It's now my go to. ;)

New host... :D

No pic but just tossed not one but two city issue hats.
Holes torn from encounters with all-rod and unistrut and
the brims looked like a duck blowing a raspberry.

I still have a full head of hair so the only time I ever wear a hat is at work. There I got to wear a hard hat, when the job is over I leave the hat and they give me a new one when I show up for the next job. I did take a couple home at the end of the last job and gave them to my step daughters. 11 and 12. They thought they were cool all decked out with goggles and goggle retainers.

I am givien nice hats from all kinds of companies and they are often given out as a commemorative of certain jobs. I give them away.

The hat continues. Here it is for 2017. As noted last year it seems to have stabilized and looks little changed, although I've been wearing it pretty regular and soaking it with sweat until it drips.

Here is the hat for 2018. Not much change, maybe a little fraying on the brim.

How can you guys stand the stink when those hats just get saturated with years of sweat and grime?

It's in my avatar. That picture is almost 20 years old. That hat, I still wear it.:D

I was told by my skin doctor after I lost my nose due to skin cancer I should be wearing a hat instead of my baseball caps. I do have a pile of each and know I should be wearing my hats but my main activity is riding the trails in our RZr. I couldnt keep a hat on 10 feet! On top of that its hot here in summer and I wear shorts. A cowboy hat just doesnt go with shorts on a fat 73 year old! I do have them though!
This kepi is one of my favorites. Bought it to keep my head when trail riding in turkey season.

I've had a number of Skin Cancers and Sunspots cut off my face, ears, and neck. I really should wear a hat instead of a ball cap however it's just hard to find a hat that will go with multiple outfits (or any at all). My retired clothing mainly consists of jeans and an untucked T-shirt. Caps just go with everything in modern casual Aussie dress codes unless you're in the outback or at the beach.

Anything other than a cap, you would get mistaken for a hipster. Lol

Your hat is very similar to one I have. Back when the first Indiana Jones movie came out Stetson and Lucasfilms got together and marketed an official licensed Indiana Jones fedora. I got one back then and it became my official fishing hat for our Canadian fishing trips. I liked it so much when one came up on ebay recently I bought another one.

Unfortunately tinpic.com no longer will host for free, so my previous hat pictures are gone (unless I reload them to a new host and edit my posts). Nevertheless, here is the 2019 hat pic using postimage.org.
