3-inch GP100's. The blue one is pretty uncommon even without it's "D" serial number.

Oh yeah, and this old Smith I posted a couple weeks ago in another thread.

I like those 3" GP-100's, I too have the blued and stainless versions. The blued version was my service revolver for almost 15 years, never shot worse than 99% during requal. I bought the blued 3" GP-100 as a substitute for the discontinued Model 13 3". These days it's much easier to find a 3" 13 as opposed to the blued 3" GP-100. The main reason I stopped carrying my blued 3" GP was that I couldn't easily replace it, having seen precisely one other blued 3" GP in the last 15 years.

Here's a few...

If I can be allowed a 1/4 inch...this 44 Magnum is one of three built and shipped by S&W in 1974 with a 3 1/4-inch barrel and fixed sights. The stocks are by Keith Brown. click on the photo for a better look.

I carried this revolver on several hunting trips in the Scapegoat Wilderness in western Montana. It is great for horseback because of its short barrel. I always carried it when I did not have my rifle because of a chance encounter with a grizzly.
