I've been thinking of getting another CCW pistol. I like the feel of the Sig P365. In some of the online reviews that I've seen, the P365 has had reliability issues. Things such as broken trigger springs. Has Sig worked out the bugs in these pistols?

I have put about 500 rounds through my 365, and I have no problems of any kind. At it's intended range of 10-15 yards the accuracy is more than satisfactory, it will keep them in the black on a 50 ft rapid fire target.

Mine was made in August last year, I think. Other than an early problem with one of the magazine followers hanging up under load (seems to have resolved itself) the gun has been flawless for 500 rounds or so. I enjoy shooting it

I hear very little bad about P365s from people who actually own one. You can find almost any opinion about a gun from people you don't know while viewing the internet.

Most of the folks I know who own 365s, including me, have purchased them within the last year or so. Nothing negative - except the SAS, and the price of spare magazines. A couple guys who bought SAS thought it might be just the ticket, and later decided it was a mistake, for them.

Based on my own very limited experience, I wouldn't hesitate to buy another 365 if I thought I needed one. Of the mini-9s, I consider it by far the best. Very nice little gun, but considerably heavier than my 340PD.

I have ~3000 rds thru mine, my EDC. Picked it up in Oct 2018. The gun has been boringly reliable. Don't know anything near it's size, weight, capacity, reliability, or accuracy that can beat it.
Have no knowledge of the Hellcat, the only other contender to the crown.
As noted, magazines are somewhat expensive.

Had mine 9 months now, so a newer production run. Likely the last CC semi I ever buy, don't know how anything could be a substantial improvement over it.
Has been 100% reliable with 1000 rounds of both range and HP ammo, very good trigger, much less recoil then my 642, same size and only two oz heavier, 10 to 12 rounds per mag choice vs. 5, and am more accurate with it.
Mine has a manual safety which I reqjuire in a striker fired pistol carried either pocket or AWIB, and has a Hogue Handall on it which works very well with my large hands.

Mine has been 100% trouble free so far. I do not keep track of round count after the first 300 or so. I have had mie for a long time. Ser # is in the 80--- thousand range.

I bought one last year -- cautiously, because I was aware of the problems with the early ones. It ran great. Then I let my wife shoot it, which was a mistake. She promptly appropriated it for her own use. A few months ago I got my myself a P365 XL. It wouldn't go into battery reliably during the first box of ammo I fired, but I gave it a thorough cleaning and it has run without a hitch since then. I now consider the 365 and the 365 XL as totally satisfactory.

I bought mine early (as early as I could get one). I actually bought two, one for me and one for my son who is a police officer. Neither has given any problems whatsoever.

I have been a revolver guy forever. My first three issued handguns were S&W revolvers. Even when we were issued semi-autos I carried a revolver as a backup/undercover/off duty gun. Since I retired from full time work in 2009, I qualified with and carried a revolver almost exclusively. That was until I got the P365. Now, its my main concealed carry gun. Prior to buying it my primary carry gun was a S&W Model 940. When comparing the guns it was a non-decision. Same size, same weight and over twice the capacity and similar recoil.

As a reserve officer and under LEOSA I am required to qualify annually both day and night. Daylight qualification goes back to 25 yards. My scores have increased dramatically from the revolver. I tell people that the P365 is a little gun that thinks its a big gun.

I talked with a good friend yesterday who retired as the state firearms coordinator for ATF recently. He bought a P365 and that's all he carries now.

While the internet was awash with "issues" caused by the gun, my unscientific sample has provided no guns with issues. I know the law enforcement firearms distributor I bought my gun from has sold hundreds, if not thousands, and they tell me they have not had a gun come back for problems.

The only suggestion I have if you buy one is to buy a magazine loader. The mags are very tight and it will save your hands if you shoot it a lot.

I highly recommend the gun.

I've posted these photos before, but they will give you an idea of the size compared to the J frame Model 940.

My 365 has a manufacture date of 23-JUN-2018. When it was new there were a couple of times it would not return to battery with a full magazine. Sigforum members said shoot it. Haven't had a problem after about 200 rounds. I'm over 1000 now. I added a Hogue Beavertail Grip Sleeve. It fills my hand better than the stock grip. It's a $12 add-on.

Another vote for the P365. I have carried a Glock 26 for quite a few years because of its reliability and size. The P365 I bought last year has pretty much replaced my 26 as my daily carry, and that's saying something. Shoots dead to the sights, accurate, and about 1000 rounds with no issues at all. A little thinner than the 26, and that makes a real difference for IWB carry

I have well over 1,000 rounds through mine. I did have one malfunction at round count about 950, but it wasn't the fault of the pistol. I actually shoot mine much better than my 2" revolvers and I cut my teeth on revolvers. I think you will be happy with the reliability of the Sig P 365. Mine is my EDC.

I have given some thought to a sig 365 but I have a Glock 43 with a plus two mag. That gives me 9 rounds just two less than the sig.Is it worth spending $500 plus to gain 2 rounds.

FWIW anyone who knows me is aware I am not a "Sig guy" at all. I am by no means a hater of Sig but their semi auto pistols just never did anything for me when I shot them and I therefore never owned any.

UNTIL early last year when I shot and now own not one but two 2019 Production P365s (consecutive serial numbers) which I refer to as the guns I love to hate!

They are all I seem to carry now.

The one I EDC has been flawless with several thousand rounds.

IMVHO the P365s are hard to beat as they filled a EDC niche that was very empty for a very long time by combining reliability, accuracy, capacity, excellent sights and ergonomics in a 9x19mm platform comparable to the size of a J Frame.

Just my 2 Cents, Hope this helps.

Personally , I seen 2 confirmed negatives:
#1. Footprint --- just nor comfortable in my hands
#2. Cost

Otherwise , a very fine firearm

Mine has run flawless as well. I'm a revolver guy to the core, but several of my shooting buddies carry the P365 and I decided to give one a try especially since I was able to get one wholesale I have purposely run a variety of ammo through it and mixed it up and even ran some old dirty stuff through it. I've run brass case, steel and aluminum. If its going to be a carry gun, I want to know it will run anything. It has not missed a beat. One thing I agree with @WCCPHD. Spend the money on a mag loader if you don't have one. The mags are tough especially the last couple of rounds. I have several that came with other guns but picked up a UpLULA based on referrals by friends and it is the BOMB! By far the best mag loader I've ever tried.

I have given some thought to a sig 365 but I have a Glock 43 with a plus two mag. That gives me 9 rounds just two less than the sig.Is it worth spending $500 plus to gain 2 rounds.

four rounds difference, carry mine loaded with 12 round mag. The 365 has a much better trigger, comes with very good sights, with the 12 round mag more compact than my G43, which I sold for $400, was with a plus two mag.
And I just shoot the 365 better. Suggest trying one.

I say buy one,I haven't had any problem with mine and I EDC it and my S&W 442-2,638-3 .38 SPL+P Airweight's

P365

Very easy 9mm to conceal in south Florida
Only 400 or so rounds ball and hollow point
From 10 & 12 round mags. No malfunctions.
Not my favorite 9MM, but favorite to carry.
Got easier to load mags each time i shoot it.
I say its a home run for sig.
