Last night digging. I did 3 runs. Once in the AM. 2nd time around 4 or 5 and these pictures are from midnight. I pretty much cleared everything each time so what you see is what fell from 5pm to midnight. Not counting all day

My deck. It's even higher now. Almost completely even

This is the door to the deck. Each square is 12 inches plus there's a step down which is about 12 inches.

During the afternoon

At night. Look carefully for the white line

I will say this. My best idea ever was cleaning snow every few hours when heavy snow fall is expected. I cleaned 3 times yesterday and still took me almost 3 hours to clear what little was left and what the plow had pushed into my driveway. If I had to do it all at once I'd still be at it and I started today at 9am. I noticed none of my immediate neighbors did that yesterday and while I was done around noon I took my dog for a walk and watched everyone attempting to shovel out 3ft of snow with driveways that are 2 cars across and 3 cars long

View down the street. We got over 30 inches at my place. Plow still has not come at 10:30 pm.

I see you have a beautiful blue sky to cheer you up. I'm kinda jealous cuz we haven't had much snow here. My 5 horse Honda is rarin' to go.

Wassa matter?? Never seen snow before?? Now, when I was a kid,........Yeah y'all got lots of snow. Down here in my neck of the wood, I counted 2 or 3 flurries,. That will be it for the year.

Wow, thats usually what we get up here in the Northeast. Im sure glad it got pushed out to sea before it got here. Good luck and lift with your legs. Dont hurt your back shoveling that avalanche

Since I am not in the city limits, I am waiting on the Virginia DOT to plow. So far nothing.
