It is green and damp and I have mowed the lawn twice already and now they are saying that we could get an inch or so of snow tonight and that it may stay in the 30's tomorrow. Oh well:p. here is what it looks like out my front door right now.
Peace,
Gordon

Snowed/sleeted/rained all day in the Des Moines area. It was in the 80s earlier in the week. This damn weather is tough on the dandelions in my yard!!

Is this some crazy weather or what?! Yesterday I ran the AC for a while. Today I can't stay warm. We've had like three springs this year so far.:confused:

Camdenton

Howdy,
I'm moving into a tent at Lake of the Ozarks for the next week starting in the morning. They are calling for a high of 37 and low of 32 and snow at Camdenton on Wunderground weather.
The first couple of days are going to suck.
Last year a warm spring set in around here in March.
Oh well, the campground shouldn't be too crowded this weekend.
Thanks and stay warm.
Mike

Dang Gordon even here in the frozen north we are wall-to-wall sunny and 70's for the next week (finally).

Someone's been messin' with the thermostat out your way for sure!

It was 99°F here at the weekend but didn't make 80°F today. I had to put the heat on this morning as my pet birds were looking fluffy when I uncovered them.

Update: The local weather folk here say temps will spike to the low 90s tomorrow and Saturday but they are expecting a low pressure system to park off SoCal to bring us rain and low 70s next Monday and Tuesday. If global warming means more unpredictable weather, they got that right.

Spent many a night camping there years ago, you either froze or melted down. Once I found out about credit I bought a big ole RV and a generator, It is like having a motel suite at fishing or deer camp. Vacations, family reunions etc. work well too.

It is too simple, if it is too hot, turn on the AC, if it is cold turn on the furnace.

I remember tents, I gave my last one to my grandson. Thermostat, it's what makes you smile...... :D

My daughter called me a few ago and told me it's going to be in the mid 30's where I live in S. Miss. tomorrow. That means a danger of a light frost. IN MAY!!! I've already got green tomatoes on the vine and some of the potatoes are ready to be dug. I'll cover the tomatoes but there's nothing I can do about the corn and some of the other stuff other than replant like I did one year when we got two inches of snow on April 17. At least the pullets have feathers now and I won't have to turn on the heat. As mentioned above, it's got to be this global warming stuff. I hope it doesn't hurt the muscadines. I want to make some wine this year.

Snowing all afternoon here in the U.P. After freezing rain overnight.
Had to scrape the car windows off this morning when my wife went out.
Then had to brush a bit over an inch of snow off when she went out again later.

My late, great uncle used to say,
"Here we have nine months of winter and three months of bad sledding."
The more weather I see the more I think he was right.

Crazy weather this year isn't it. Tuesday we were 98 and Wed it was 45 and today 51 and last 2 nights below freezing and tonight to be 29. Supposed to be back in the 70's in a day or two. The weather has been a roller coaster. It has always been a saying around here that if you don't like the weather, just hang around because it will change.

Regrettably, we have had to cancel this evening's scheduled snowball fight, because of uncooperative weather conditions.

Just turned the heat on in coastal NC! Supposed to go to the beach this weekend for the KY Derby. May have to take long johns!

Got up Thursday to 4 inches of new, wet, sticky stuff. Figures, I took 300 pounds of sand out of my truck last weekend. At least we missed the big dump that fell east and south of here. Same storm is supposed to blow back over us from the East today.
