Hello and thank you...
I am new to being someone who loves to shoot and loves 3rd generation S&Ws.
I have a 6906 I bought from bud's guns used, but in really nice condition.
I love the gun.
I also love to shoot. I put about 500 rounds through it once a month since July.
Do you think this is a bad idea?
I ask this because I think about my 6906 like a '73 Camaro.
Should I shoot it that often and then replace worn out parts? I worry I will not be able to replace the parts at some point, or it will get really expensive to replace parts.
Or should I buy another S&W (newer model) to shoot regularly?
I am sorry if this is a really stupid question.
Obviously, I think shoot it and worry later, but maybe I want to leave it for my kids?
Thanks everyone.
