M3Stuart, I was lusting after this 60 for a while. Saw one just like it go quickly on GB right from under me. This one was not getting away.

I have two Model 36s. They are both SB:



The 3" is from 1973 and came to me when my father in law passed away. It doesn't even have a turn line that I can see. The blued one from 1982 is my back up (pocket) gun.

The square butt is my favorite J frame handle. But I must admit I have a couple of the round variety as well ...

What kind of grips are on the two outside guns? Are they original S&W, S&W Accessory, or aftermarket? I have a pair just like theose for a SB J Frame.

The three inch J-frame heavy barrel with the bigger sights in SB is about perfect. A lot easier to make good hits with than a 2 incher.

I prefer the Sb on 3" J frames, Kinda gives them a Baby M&P look.
